Quick Pitch by Jerry Mileur, Senate Dems Cannot Win SC Fight

The Senate Democrats have boxed themselves into a political corner on the Supreme Court nomination. They cannot win but they can find better grounds on which to lose and can hang on to what shred of power the minority has.

If the GOP will go far right next time with a Supreme Court nominee, why not this time? If you are going to use the nuclear option, why wait? Maybe there's more to the Senate rule than meets the eye. Of course that's not something the cynical can see.
